It is the responsibility of successful photojournalists to have all the details down before a shoot and to be ready for everything.
Ron Haviv shares his two decades of experience establishing a photojournalistic career on well-laid foundations in Your Photojournalism Survival Kit.
This course will teach you:
- How to find a compelling story and set up a shooting schedule for it
- How to draft a pitch letter and a budget
- How to prepare for any scenario that may arise during the shoot and deal with obstacles as they arise
Ron Haviv offers advice for young photographers as well as anecdotes from his extensive experience.
He will educate you that your work begins the moment you leave your home; it is imperative to plan ahead, pack, and be ready for even the best-laid plans to fall through.
You’ll pick up tips on how to evaluate your level of readiness, safety, and support when working in the field.
For aspiring photojournalists as well as seasoned professionals who might want to review their checklists, your Photojournalism Survival Kit is essential.
